The Civil Protection Department of Rome has recently entered into a five-year contract with the Swiss company Geosig, in collaboration with Pizzi Instruments, for the maintenance and updating of seismic monitoring systems managed by the Seismic Observatory of Structures.

These systems play a crucial role in the prevention and management of seismic emergencies, allowing the Civil Protection Department to obtain accurate and timely data to implement appropriate preventive and responsive measures.

Pizzi Instruments, the exclusive representative of Geosig in Italy, will be responsible for the installation and continuous maintenance of the systems, ensuring they are always updating and ready to respond to emerging needs.

The expertise and experience of Geosig, combined with the significant technical support from Pizzi Instruments, will permit effective monitoring and response to seismic events.
