Supply and installation of monitoring instrumentation at the Riolunato dam (Modena)
The Riolunato dam was built in 1911 and represents one of the oldest Italian dams.
In 2011 the Italian Dam Registry carried out a structural and hydraulic examination which led to the definition of an overall static and hydraulic adaptation project.
In 2015 Pizzi Instruments received the contract from the Gelmi Construction Company for the supply and installation of monitoring instrumentation for the Riolunato dam, currently managed by Enel Green Power.
The object of the supply performed by Pizzi Instruments were Automatic Laser Coordinometers model LAC3000, Bar Extensometers in INVAR and Measurement Sensors model LVDT.
The supply and installation of the instrumentation was concluded positively, receiving the approval of the Client.
