The collaboration that has been in place for years with the company IREN ENERGIA Spa of Turin has led to the application of new instrumentation on the Telessio dam.
Sophisticated INVAR steel rod extensometers, guided by Ball Bushing for the reduction of the friction effects in the sliding of the rods, have been recently installed in the Telessio dam.
To these have been added as many bore load cells, for the control of radial deformations.
